This website explores the intersection of motherhood and madness. We aim to create digital content that is supported by academic literature, personal experiences and other mothers’ stories to demonstrate the relationship between mothering and madness that spans across generations.  Using feminist disability studies, disability justice and mad studies frameworks, this project is intended to challenge ableist mothering ideals, contest the oppressive systems that marginalize and medicalize us, and inspire collective maternal resistance to reclaim our sanity.
